Where do the prices come from?

From a model that runs on your device. The values are reference figures that follow a plausible path over time; they are not market prices and will differ from any dealer's quote. The Desk labels the price MODEL when the model is in use.

03

Using your own price

Open Settings, turn on "Use my own reference price" and enter the price in US dollars per troy ounce. Every screen then uses your number and the Desk label changes to MANUAL. Currency cross rates stay model-generated.

Fineness is parts of gold per thousand; karat is fineness ÷ 1000 × 24. Presets cover 999.9, 999, 916.7, 875, 750, 585, 416.7 and 375; any other fineness can be typed.

Backing up the Vault

Entries are kept on your device. Settings › Export vault as CSV creates a file you can save to Files, mail to yourself or share elsewhere. Keep an export with your receipts; deleting the app deletes its data.

06

Changing currency or unit

Settings › Home currency and Home unit. The change applies to every screen at once. Underlying weights are stored in grams, so switching units does not alter an entry.

07

Removing data

Swipe an entry left in the Vault to remove it, or use Settings › Clear all vault entries. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Privacy
